What we collect

MyWaterIQ collects minimal data necessary to operate the site:

• Server logs — standard web server logs including IP addresses, pages visited, and browser type. These are retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes.
• Analytics — we use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, general geography). We do not track individuals across sites.
• Contact form submissions — if you contact us, we retain your email and message to respond to your inquiry.

What we don't collect

• We do not require account creation or registration
• We do not collect payment information
• We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to third parties
• We do not use cross-site tracking cookies

Cookies

MyWaterIQ uses only functional cookies necessary to operate the site (e.g. WordPress session cookies). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Third-party services

• Google Fonts — we load fonts from Google's CDN. Google may log font requests per their privacy policy.
• EPA ECHO — all water quality data is sourced from the public EPA ECHO database. No personal data is shared with EPA.

Your rights

You may request deletion of any personal data we hold about you (contact form submissions, etc.) by emailing us at privacy@mywateriq.com.
